We built our dream home in Mission Beach in 2023 with Dixon Homes Cairns. We are first homeowners with zero experience in building anything. Dixons took care of everything, and the process was very easy. We relied on Dixons allot regarding customising our design, material and colour schemes which worked out better than we could have imagined. Some of our initial ideas would not have worked and there were so many great ideas from them that took our build to the next level.

7 months following completion, we raised a few small issues under warranty. Within 2weeks all issues were fixed, no integration, no issues, easy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dixon Homes Cairns. From start, to finish, to post completion they have been easy to deal with and most importantly delivered on everything promised.

As you are aware eighteen months ago after moving from Melbourne we selected Dixon Homes to build for us. This house was completed in May 2017. The result was fantastic, and you provided us with a great home finished to perfection.

Commencing retirement with the children and grand kids coming to stay for holidays, and a water view seemed to be a new start. Colleen and I had no hesitation in having you and your team at Dixon build our dream home in Blue Water Lane, Trinity Beach. We moved in on 23 June 2018 and there is no other way to describe it than everybody at Dixon Homes have done an exceptional job.

Our personal thanks to Matt Rutherford for the design and advice, to Rachel Hutchinson for assisting my wife Colleen with the process, but the end result comes down to Rob Bridgeman your building supervisor. His contribution has been outstanding and will be forever be grateful.

Just wanted to pass on some feedback regarding our new family home recently constructed. Having worked in industries where feedback is appreciated, its generally the people who are happy that don't take the time to pass on feedback.

I have found it to be a fantastic experience building with you. You often hear of horror stories of people building interstate but for me this was never really a concern. Right from the first-time meeting Matt out at the display village you appeared to be a quality and reliable builder. (I did my research about your company)

For me the set up happened very quick as I was only in Cairns a few days. Matt was amazing and a wonderful ambassador, he was professional and was more than happy to give an honest opinion on what would work and what could be changed, many of his suggestions were incorporated into my design.

Throughout the entire build Matt was my contact person, any questions from my end he would quickly follow up and get back to me. Matt would often follow up the build progress and keep me informed at what was happening off his own accord. Dixons are lucky to have him on the team.

The colour selection phase was handled very well by Rachel who understood my time limits. Quotes were quickly followed up and sent to myself for validation. The whole process went smooth and any variations from my end were quickly acted on and followed up.

A big thanks also goes to the build team led by Rob. I was given a time frame that suited and the house was delivered on time if not a few days earlier. The team knew I was on a tight time line moving from interstate and kept things rolling along quickly right to the end. I have ended up with an amazing home that speaks quality.

I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending a Dixon home to anyone. While furnishing the home you often talk to the sales people, the question I have been asked the most is, were I happy with the build and finished product, to which I am happy to sing your praises. I wish you well to keep building your quality homes. (Maybe just keep the south of Cairns, there are enough people in the Northern Beaches area now!!)

Firstly, thank you to your and your team. We have now been in our new home for over a week and we are over the moon with the final result. We thought living in Sydney during the build would have some stress levels, but we were very wrong. We were always informed of progress with photos. Jai and I built 2 sets of duplexes with Dixon Homes in 2017. We had a lot on our plate at the time and were looking for a low stress professional builder who could take care of the projects from start to finish. The in-house draftsman support was excellent, producing 2 very functional designs. I loved how I could go in to the Dixon Homes showroom and pick everything for both projects all in one place in under 3 hours! From there the projects were completed to an exceptional standard, on time and all sold within one week of completion. We were very happy with the result.

The decision to build a new home and select a builder is a big decision but the decision to sell up in one State and then select a builder is far greater. The final decision was to build with Dixon Homes. From the very first contact with Matt at the display home, to Rachel, and finally the building supervisor Rob, I can only say the whole team were very professional. We were kept up to date on the progress of the build via a VIP login service, and then regular contact with the building supervisor. We are delighted with the overall package, changes and final finish to our home. I have no hesitation in recommending Dixon Homes as a quality builder offering a total professional service.
